The Twenty-Sixth Annual BBA Spring Break Weekend
General Conference Information
The 26th Annual BBA Spring Break Weekend will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 and Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Westin Annapolis Hotel, 100 Westgate Circle, Annapolis, Maryland.
Registration includes the program materials, drop-in lunch on Thursday, cocktail party on Thursday, continental breakfast on Friday, and luncheon on Friday. Space is limited. The deadline to register is April 19, 2024. The BBA cannot guarantee that it will accept your registration if you fail to register by that date.
There is no registration fee for judges, judicial law clerks, or faculty members, but they are required to register for Spring Break.
You have the option of receiving either a printed book or a pdf file with the Spring Break program materials (see below). If you elect to receive an electronic copy of the Spring Break program materials, you will receive an email with a link and a passcode prior to the program.
The BBA has a room block with the Westin for the night of Thursday, May 2, 2024 under the name “BBA Spring Break 2024.” To make a reservation using the Westin’s website, go to BBA Spring Break 2024. The group discount rate is $214 for the night. The Westin will release the room block on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. As a courtesy, if you choose to extend your stay, the hotel has offered limited rooms at the group rate, based on availability, from April 29, 2024 through May 6, 2024. Register online by credit card (Mastercard, VISA, Amex, or Discover) or a PayPal account. Upon completion, press the submit button, and you will be taken to the PayPal credit card processing site. Please allow several seconds for the sites to connect. If your transaction is successful, you will receive a receipt from PayPal at the email address you provide. Registration is NOT complete until you receive email confirmation.
Note on using PayPal with a credit card, without a PayPal account: Using Internet Explorer it says “Don’t have a PayPal account? Pay as a guest now, sign up for PayPal later.” (Optional) With Firefox, click the link that says: “Don’t have a PayPal Account?” Again, you can use your charge card without signing up for the PayPal account.
